22nd June 08 - The Barn Dance was bloody amazing! 300 people turned up and tore up Freightliner's Farm in frenzy of finely co-ordinated footsteps and everyone had a blast. Thanks to all who came for making it such a memorable night. Judging by the smiles we are pretty sure you had a good time.  (see photos ) Thanks to all the artists who took part; the seriously soulful Sam Beer, the quirkily melodic Mysterious Benefactors, the earthily tuneful Hey Negrita , the disturbingly hilarious Gaylord and kick-ass rock-gods, Skirtbox . Huge thanks to our wondrous caller Nigel, who managed to marshall 200 pissed people into a precison machine with humour and professionalism, and his accompanists, the highly talented, Swallowtail. Big thank yous to Richie, Lisa, Dean, Tom, Nella, Ru, Laurie, Vicki, Maddie, Don Wright and to Lisa and all the staff at Freightliner's Farm for all their patience and help. And a special thanks goes to Jo at Armadillo Arts  for co-ordinating the whole event and making sure it all ran smoothly.    22nd April 08 - Following the success of our barn dance last year, we are holding a second one at Freightliner's Farm near Highbury Corner on June 21st. We're starting earlier at 3pm and going right through into the evening.  They'll be lots of bands, a BBQ, a bar and plenty of opportunity to try your hand both line and square dancing with our experienced caller. Advance tickets are £5 inc  postage. Accompanied children under 16 are admitted free. You can see the line up and buy tickets here . 21st April 08 - New merchandise in our shop 20th Jan 08 - We've received an invitation to play at the world's biggest music festival for new and up coming artistes, the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas. Our trip will be sponsored these wondrously enlightened organisations so we won't have to kip in the van!
